The SFIO

SFIO has been set up as an independent office in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Company Affairs, to investigate 
seriuos financial frauds

Charter

For the present, the SFIO will function within the existing provisions of the Companies Act, 1956. In due course, however, a separate Legislation for the SFIO is envisaged.

Organisational Structure

The SFIO is a multi-disciplinary organisation with experts drawn from different fields.The head of the organistion is the Director, SFIO.

Information from Public

The SFIO will receive information on serious financial frauds.
