Subject: Citizen's Charter of Department of Company Affairs

Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances requested all Ministries and Departments of Govt. of India to identify the areas of having wide public interface and to set up a Task Force to frame Citizen's Charter. In pursuance to this, a Task Force was set up to prepare the Citizen's Charter for the Department of Company Affairs. The Task Force constituted as under the Chairmanship of Shri R.D. Joshi, Joint Secretary has drawn up the Citizen's Charter for the Department.

2. The main themes of Citizen's Charter are the quality, standards, value, accountability, transparency, openness, information, non-discrimination, accessibility etc. The Citizen's Charter has been formulated to implement the policies and procedures of Department of Company Affairs for the benefit of the public, investors and corporate sector.
