The rates of Application Fees payable by Companies and individuals to the Central Government for various applications made by them for approvals under the Companies Act, 1956 have been revised by notifiying the Companies (Fees on Applications) Rules, 1999 on 6.7. 1999 vide Notification No:501(E) .

2. The Central Government has now decided to give effect to the above mentioned revision of fee with effect from 10.8.1999 in stead of 6.7.1999. For this purpose another Notification has been issued on 6.8.1999 (GSR No: 578(E)), namely the Companies (Fees on Applications) Amendment Rules, 1999.

3. All Individuals and Companies are requested kindly to note that these revised rates will come into effect from 10.8.1999 in stead of 6.7.1999.

4. A copy of the Amendment Notification has also been placed at the Web page of the Department of Company Affairs at the Internet Address: http:/www.nic.in/dca.
