Suggestion of CVC incorporated by DCA in its Citizen’s Charter

 

The Citizen’s Charter of the Department of Company Affairs is a declaration of their mission, values and standards and their commitment to achieve excellence in formulation and implementation of policies and procedures of the Department for the benefit of public, investors and corporate sectors who are their partners in the progress.  The Department of Company Affairs is committed to carry out the task with integrity and judiciousness, courtesy and understanding, objectivity and transparency, promptness and efficiency and expect the corporate sector to be prompt and reasonable in fulfilling their duties and legal obligations and be true and honest in furnishing information to them.

 

            Keeping in view a specific suggestion of the Central Vigilance Commission, it is proposed to add one more item in the Citizen’s Charter namely; all services shall be provided without charge or demanding any money other than the remuneration prescribed by law.

 

            The web site of the Department provides details about the activities of the Department, annual report, press release, monthly corporate release etc.  The web site address is –http://www.nic.in/dca.
