Suspension of Shri Pawan Kumar Sultania, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange
Shri Pawan Kumar Sultania, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 030700513) has been suspended by the SEBI for a period of two months in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for lapses in maintenance of books of accounts and non-segregation of own funds from clients’ funds. He will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 05, 1999 till May 04, 1999.
Suspension of Shri Amar Nath Khetan, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange
Shri Amar Nath Khetan, member of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 100341919) has been suspended by the SEBI for a period of two months in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for indulging in carry-forward transactions. He will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 09, 1999 till May 08, 1999.
Suspension of Shri Padam Chand Jain, member of Gauhati Stock Exchange
Shri Padam Chand Jain, member of Gauhati Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 130337114) has been suspended by the SEBI for a period of six months in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for failure to produce books of accounts, other records and documents for inspection. He will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from March 09, 1999 till September 08, 1999.
Suspension of member broker of Saurashtra Kutch stock Exchange
Shri Rajchandra H. Kothari - M/s. R. H. Kothari SEBI Reg. No. INB180742216, member of Saurashtra Kutch Stock Exchange has been suspended by the SEBI for a period of six months in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for not maintaining books of accounts, not segregating own clients transactions, not issuing contract notes, not reporting off-the-floor transactions, delay in payment/delivery of scrips to clients, charging excess brokerage etc. He will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from April 2, 1999 till October 1, 1999.
Cancellation of Registration of Shri Krishna Kumar Jalan, Member Gauhati Stock Exchange
The SEBI has cancelled the registration of Shri Krishna Kumar Jalan, Member of Gauhati Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 130336614), with immediate effect in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992 for being declared as a defaulter in the Gauhati Stock Exchange and ceased to be member of the Exchange. He will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with immediate effect.
