NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th March, 1999

G. S. R. 204(E) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 217 read with clause (a) of sub-section 642 of the Companies Act 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Particulars of Employees) (Amendment) Rules, 1999.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In rule 1A of the Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975.-

    1. in clause (a), for the words "three lakhs" the words "six lakhs" shall be substituted

    2. in clause (b), for the words "twenty five thousand" the words "fifty thousand" shall be substituted
