278(E).- In exercise
of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 642, read with clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section
209 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes
the following rules further to
amend the Cost Accounting
Records (Chemical Industries) Rules, 1987, namely :-

(1) These rules may be called
the Cost Accounting Records (Chemical
Industries) Amendment Rules, 2001.
(2) They shall come
into force on the date of their publication in the Official
Gazette.

In the Cost
Accounting Records (Chemical
Industries) Rules, 1987,-
in appendix, after
serial number 20 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
included namely :-
